The great english poet and play writer William Shakespeare seems wrong when he told "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet".
Name change emerged as trend of day whether it’s a extra K in name of some cinestar or changing name of Amethi to Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj Nagar or hell number of Gandhi named schemes (Yet I am great admirer of Rahul Gandhi because of his will to understand grass level truth about India before taking Reign), hearing news that Kerala is getting renamed as Keralam ,Madras got changed to Chennai , Bombay got changed to Mumbai,Kalicut became Kozhikode.I am just waiting cross fingered when Lucknow will be renamed as Nukhloow or Awadh .
Does our government is not having any other serious business to do other than changing names of established institutions???
What is the gain of aam aadmi in these name gimmicks???? People are still not getting medicines in government hospitals, people are still getting slaughtered in train and plain accidents, pregnant ladies in villages losing their life in way on bumpy roads before reaching to hospital, government teachers are busy in making strategies for promotions n Dharnas rather than concerning about single digit pass result, poor villagers are forced to pick guns against security forces instead of plugging their fields and common man is cursing government without trying to identify root of their plights.
Do we really have luxury of spending crores of Rupees on name change only so that we can butter some influential family or can target some particular caste vote???Should we not spend money first for basic amenities for every Indian???
The purpose of naming various social schemes, institutions, bridges, district and airports was , to keep reminds us about the local culture, local personalities and the eminent personalities in that field so that they can motivate coming generations but why we should change name of existing establishments whish cost in millions to Indian Tax payers.
Just do a google by ‘ number of rajiv gandhi scheme ‘ and you will get n number of schemes starting from RAJIV GANDHI UDYAMI MITRA YOJANA (I would have love it as Jamshed Ji Tata or Dhirubhai Ambani UDYAMI MITRA YOJANA) , Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (I would have love it as APJ Abdul Kalam or Aryabhata or Har Gobind Khorana Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya ) , Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (I would have as Vinoba Bhave Vidyutikaran Yojana) , RAJIV GANDHI SHILPI SWASTHYA BIMA YOJANA and there are thousands of others on same name pattern. It seems like whole India was developed by one family only and there is no other son of Land who worked for India.
Our next generation will come and ask , is there any other contributor in shaping Modern India other than Respected Gandhis and Baba Saheb Bhim Saheb Ambedekar .I understand and salute the contribution of Gandhis and Baba Sahebs but is it wise to suppress the contributions of other sons and daughters of India????
Do next generation will be able to know who was Chandra Shekar Ajad ,Bhagat Singh ,APJ Abdul Kalam,Vinoba Bhave , Dr. Jayant Narlikar , Jayaprakash Narayan,Lal Bahadur Shastri,Ballabh Bhai Patel ,Baba Amte, Rabindra Nath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda?? Should we not give some place to these personalities when naming new establishments????
If we want to preserve a healthy history for our next generation, respect for past generation and motivation for current generation we need to acknowledge contributions of various personalities from different work areas and different parts of India.
We should not change the name of existing establishments as it costs millions of rupees to Indian Tax payers and even if we need to name new establishments it should be named keeping note of local culture, local personalities and the eminent personalities.

Killings of Jawans by Naxals/Maoist, whose failure it is???
Today morning there was a small news in corner of page ‘Maoists kill 27 CRPF jawans in Chhattisgarh’.Many of us have seen it and thought 27 , some two months back it was 76 .For them Its just another number ,nothing else.
There was no murmur in public circles because for us its just the small number as we are very rich in number (120,0000000 of population) there was no murmur among leaders to go and at least console families of Saheed Jawans ,there were no murmur among human right activists that why 76 (in Daantewada),148 (In Gyaneshwari Express) and again 27 were butchered by Maoist and Naxaliest. (Our leaders and human right activist call them Nirdhan and Nireah villagers)
One day back two youths killed in Kashmir while they were vandalizing against the law and order ,whole valley has been jammed and there were protests across Kashmir Valley. The CM comes into picture and Said Sorry (I really appreciate his genuine apology to his state)
Does our slain soldiers not deserves same sort of support from public and leaders, to whom they were serving and protecting???????????
Our Soldiers were there in Chhattisgarh to restore peace, help and save poor people then why they have been killed brutally???????? Do they just join the forces to record in, numbers of soldiers killed in counter insurgency operations?
These killings are not just numbers, it’s the families who will never get chance to sit together and have meal happily ,It’s the children who will never get chance to wait for their father in evening ,its their widows who will never get chance to see their husbands again ,it’s the sisters who will wait for their brothers on every Rakhi, It’s the system that says we are biggest successful democracy (killing of people by people) in world , it’s the failure of our system which failed to solve a social issues (long term military solutions are not successful for social issues),Its failure of learning that we did not learnt from the massacre of 76 brave soldiers in Daantewada and it’s the failure of me, you and us that we do not want to think about the root cause and solution of these issues and problem.
I pray to God to give enough courage and patience to families who lost their loved ones, serving and protecting us and our motherland.

My Caste is Indian ....
Yesterday afternoon while going through the news, read the news Cabinet meets to seal fate of caste Census , I felt like something piercing through both my heart and mind. Why do we need to go through caste census? Do we want to continue as a developing nation where getting job is dependent on your caste rather than your skills, getting college admission based on your caste rather than your marks, voting based on caste (what if candidate is Criminal or Dacoit if he is from your own caste) rather than a neat clean imaged person or Social worker/professor from some other caste? I even heard about ragging in some colleges based on caste.
Purpose of Census is having a count of RESIDENTS of INDIA so that Government can make necessary arrangement for basic infrastructure (Roads/Dams/Hospitals/Schools/Railway Stations/Airports) and basic amenities (Drinking Water/Food/Education/House/Job/Social Security) for each Indian.
Does a person from Caste A need Drinking Water/Food/Education/House/Job/Social Security and at the same time person from caste B does not entitled for these amenities?????????????????????????
Why Drinking Water/Food/Education/House/Job/Social Security can not be make available to every INDIAN irrespective of their CASTE.
The open agenda of this Caste based census is to provide statistical data about caste in each and every region based on which our Netas can declare themself Crusader of that caste and lead naïve countrymen to Rasta Rocco Andolon and Bharat Band.
Netas will be using this data to provoke poor people and be talking/thinking about caste only and not for India because if every people will start thinking about India, Netas will not have lavish lifestyle and easy money. They need it to intice people against each other. They again want to invoke caste based rivalry that we had, until some years back in northern states like MP,UP and Bihar where lots of poor and innocent people lost their lives on the name of castism.
Have you ever noticed that Each and Every politician irrespective of their caste/region/party is Karorepati (It is based on property that they declared at the time election,forget about undeclared money,If you dont belive check their declaration of wealth at EC website ) . An annual performance annual report of Swiss Bank says Indian Accounts have total around 1500-1800 billion dollar. This fortune is more than the fortune submitted by rest all countries combined (including USA, China, Russia and EU families). but ohhh Global IT all the time they are talking about caste and region only,but caste prejudicing has been converted as Achilles’ heel of Economic/IT Giant India.
Caste Based census will serve only the thick skinned leaders who will continue filling their pockets by misleading poor people after calculating their Castethetic (Forget Mathematics in country of Aryabhat and Ramnujam,Here Mathematics means whether your count is equal to 2/3rd of total house or not (Offcourse to form Government so that PEOPLE OF INDIA[read it as friends and family], can be served)
In Court we have statue of GANDHARI having black strip on her eyes so that she can not see while doing justice so that Justice is fair to everyone. Then why we need caste census when as Developing nation we are striving to procure basic amenities (Drinking Water/Food/Education/House/Job/Social Security) to EACH and EVERY Indian.
Why we can not identify each Indian as Indian only or by Unique ID number that we will be getting in next 3-4 years? Why it is common with us that when we put one step forward (UID to each Indian, that will be his/her identity ) and then same time put another step backward by Census Caste (That will act as feeding data to our politician for being Caste Centric instead of being India Centric)
Why We can not make Skill and Ability the only criteria for Job/Admission/Nomination/Election/Promotion. We are living in a global village. We are a bulky country like Elephant but to sustain in this fast changing word we need to be agile like a Tiger. And my firm believe that the day we all run together (forgetting Caste/Region/Religion) along with skills and Ability only , nobody will be able to stop us from being a Developed Country
Apart from social perspective, even this whole system of caste is itself weak at foundation. Who decides the caste of one person and on what criteria? How to define the caste of a person who don’t have family? What is the caste of millions of children frolicking in child asylums? What is the caste of a person whose family has multiple roots?
And for Census’10 sake will anyone tell me what is the caste/religion of our respectable Rahul Gandhi, whose mother is Christian, father is Hindu and grand father is muslim?
